Environmental Governance (EGOV)

The Environmental Governance Society was created for the students in the Environmental Governance program. Our goal is to provide an environment where students in the major can discuss concerns, goals and ideas. We strive to make you the student a part of this community as well as having the benefits of what other academic clubs do. We organize fun, social and education events on campus. We are always happy to collaborate with other student groups, organizations, clubs and faculties to encourage ideas and knowledge of sustainability, environmental governance, and much more!

This interdisciplinary major consists of courses from the disciplines of geography, political science and economics to form the knowledge and awareness of what good environmental governance. This society provides an outlet for students to share their interests with each other. The Environmental Governance Society will aid you in any way we can. From starting off as a first year to completing your degree in your fourth year, there are always some questions that need to be answered and the Environmental Governance Society will be there to help you along. We may not know the answer, but we’ll point in the direction of somebody who does. Being successful does not always mean having the best grades, but having the best experience. We can help you achieve that experience.

If you would like to become more involved within the Society feel free to stop by our office, or send us as email!
