About Us

CSAHS is the University of Guelph’s largest college, consisting of approximately 5000 students all involved with educating themselves in the social and applied sciences. The Student Alliance works to organize both educational and community building events to provide opportunities for students to take full potential of their university years. There are ten interdisciplinary undergraduate programs under the CSAHS umbrella, all of which the Alliance works as a resource for.

Our Purpose

The College of Social and Applied Human Science – Student Alliance (CSAHS-SA) is a student run organization representing all 5000 undergraduate students in both Social and Applied Human Science at the University of Guelph. The CSAHS-SA provides both community and educational based events to provide opportunities for students to take full potential of their university years.

There are currently 10 interdisciplinary programs that fall under the CSAHS-SA each with their own student associations.

Who Makes up the CSAHS-SA?

The CSAHS-SA consists of 6 Executive positions elected by the Board in the Winter semester. The positions on the CSAHS-SA executive are:

    • President
    • Vice-President Internal
    • Vice-President Administration
    • Vice-President Finance
    • Vice-President Activities
    • Vice-President Promotions and Communications

The Board consists of the member of the CSAHS-SA executive, a member from each CSAHS-SA accredited club, a CSA at-large representative (non-voting), a Student Senate Caucus representative, an Environmental Science Student Executive representative and a Bachelor of Arts of Science Student Association Representative as well as a non-voting chairperson who is appointed during the fall semester.
