A message from the CSAHS-SA

Hello CSAHS Students, it has been an amazing semester and the CSAHS exec would like to wish all of you the best of luck with your Exams. We have two updates for our last mass email: introducing you to next years executive and a description of the different CSAHS committee opportunities available to you! If you have already finished you exams, hope they went well and that you have a fantastic summer break!

2) The CSAHS-SA Chair:

Want to gain some insight on how our college is governed? Want to be at the forefront of all the action at CSAHS-SA board meetings? If so, consider applying for the position of the CSAHS-SA Chairperson! It is the role of the Chairperson to conduct all CSAHS-SA board meetings in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order and the CSAHS-SA constitution. More specifically, the Chairperson will introduce all speakers and points of order, as well as regulate and mediate the discussion. Through doing so, it is the role of the Chair to be the unbiased voice of the Student Alliance and act as the referee to ensure that all decisions are made in a fair and transparent manner. Meetings are held every other Monday at 5:30; the Chairperson receives an honorarium of $150/semester.

3) Student Rights and and Responsibilities Committee Rep: The Student Rights and Responsibilities policy is intended to maintain the integrity of the University as a community for learning. It details the rights and responsibilities afforded to students.
